The structure of the Professional Course in Fundamentals of Interior Design is designed to provide participants with the essential tools for developing specific skills in the field, through a mix of face-to-face meetings, discussion forums, question-and-answer sessions, and hands-on activities.
The course will cover topics related to research and “emotional surveying,” which form the foundation of inspiration, the analysis of functional programs for key areas of intervention—residential, hospitality, commercial, educational, and leisure spaces—as well as the characteristics of contemporary interior design projects—ideas, logic, strategies, and systems.
Later on, the focus will shift to the architecture of the project and its related executive solutions, materials and main finishes, color theory and perception, project representation, digital content production, and effective communication.
The faculty, consisting of architects and industry professionals, will guide participants in acquiring the skills necessary to organize environments, shape spaces, design furniture pieces, select materials and finishes, choose lighting and colors, study construction details, and address execution particulars, all while developing their personal style without ever overlooking the client’s needs and requirements.
