Tomas Ghisellini

Coordinator of the Professional Course and Master’s in Interior Design in Bologna

Architect and winner of the Renzo Piano Foundation Award, he coordinates the Professional Course in Interior Design at IAAD. Bologna

Tomas Ghisellini, as an architect, studied at the Faculty of Architecture in Ferrara, where he graduated with honors in 2002.
Since 2004, he has been a contract professor at the Faculty of Architecture in Ferrara, where he initially taught “Analysis of the City and Territory,” then “Landscape Architecture,” and finally “Theories and Techniques of Architectural Design.” For the 2010-2013 academic years, he held the course “Architectural Composition I.”
In the 2014-2015 biennium, he taught Architectural Composition II at the University of Bologna, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture.
Since 2017, he has been teaching “Basic Design” at IAAD. Bologna and is a Visiting Professor at Domus Academy Milan.

A winner of numerous competitions for the realization of public and private works, all of which are completed or ongoing, he has exhibited at MoMA New York and was awarded by Renzo Piano in the second edition of the prestigious Renzo Piano Foundation Award, dedicated to the best Italian architects under 40.
